Wire Rope Ladders are designed for use in difficult places when a rigid ladder would be impractical.
Our ladders are used by emergency services, mining, silo use, tree felling, caving and the rock climbing community. Where access has been by means of a rope or free climbing, the use of a wire rope ladder will greatly increase safety.
All ladders are made in Australia and have been certified for a Safe Working Load of 130kg. Each ladder comes with a tag that includes a serial number, manufacturer’s identification, date of manufacture and safety maintenance check.
The ladders have rigid rungs (aluminium or stainless steel) and flexible sides, that are made from wire rope. The advantage of this is that it allows the ladders to be suspended from a fixed point rather than like a conventional ladder.
Our ladders can be rolled up for easy transport and storage, weigh much less than a conventional ladder and can be deployed in confined spaces.
These flexible ladders were originally developed for caving exploration but over the years their progression into different industries have been very successful. Such as:

Wire Rope Ladders come in light and medium weight
Light weight:
- Aluminium – Galvanised 4mm cable with aluminium rungs 20mm x 20mm x 200mm swaged with aluminium ferrules.
- Stainless steel – Stainless steel 4mm cable with 316 stainless steel rungs 19mm x 19mm x 200mm swaged with copper ferrules.
Medium weight:
- Aluminium – Galvanised 4mm cable with aluminium rungs 20mm 20mm x 300mm swaged with aluminium ferrules.
- Stainless steel – Stainless steel 4mm cable with 316 stainless steel rungs 19mm x 19mm x 300mm swaged with copper ferrules.

All ladders comes with thimbles pressed with a hydraulic press at both ends .
Our wire rope ladders come in standard lengths of 6m, 9m, 15m, 20m, 25m and 30m.
We can custom manufacture to any size or specification.
